Harriet Buckingham, who helped out in so many ways for the town of Natick, whether it was for the Morse Institute Library, the Natick Community Organic Farm, Rotary or the Open Door, died Jan. 23 at the age of 84. Her wake on Jan. 27 and memorial service on Jan. 28 drew hundreds who appreciated her compassion, her sense of humor and, above all, her desire to serve her community.
